Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Highly focused problem-driven learning groups, allowing members to mobilize the collective intelligence of the Learning & Development community to build solutions to common challenges.
The SIG design is based on a "problem centric" collaborative approach. A temporary community will tackle a set of agreed specific shared challenges. EFMD will provide high level experts to facilitate. A prime peer will initially be identified for each group to identify initial challenges and scope.
A practical approach and methodology will be used. A workplan will be agreed with participating organisations at the start of the SIG. The output will be a set of tangible deliverables such as defined strategies and approaches, roadmaps, tools, case studies and output from expert research and advice.
